In the transatlantic  slave trade, 10-12 million enslaved people were transported globally across the ocean. The sale of slaves, still occur in modern day through international human trafficking. The 3 main categories are sex trafficking, forced labor, and debt bondage. It has a revenue of about $32 billion and more than 27 million are enslaved today internationally & domestically.”
